Upon discovering his passion for acting, Shatru relocated to Hyderabad to further his career.
In 2010, he was cast in his first feature film Leader. He got his first big break with his role as Ramaraju in Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha in 2016. The same year, Shatru was cast in his debut Tamil language film in Kathakali.
